Pool Service FAQ

Q. How long does it take to service my pool?

A. Time can very based on what is needed, if the filter has to be cleaned, etc. An average visit to clean a pool and balance the chemicals will take between 15-25 minutes for the average screened in pool.

Q. Do you fill the pool water level?

A. No, unfortunately because it easy to forget the water on, it is a risk we don’t want. And the small amount of time we are at the pool is not usually enough to make a noticeable difference to the water level. We ask that our customers keep the water level half way above the skimmer.

Q. What if we travel and are out of town?

A. No problem, we don’t need anyone home during our service stop as long as there is either an open screen door or we have a key. In fact many of our customers travel very often or live out of state, so they are rarely ever home. The other benefit of having a pool service is we can keep an eye on not just your pool but your home as well while you are away. We will report anything suspicious or odd if noticed.

Q. How long after your visit before we can swim?

A. Please be sure to check the chemical card left after our visit to determine if we added anything and we also mark to wait x amount of time before swimming.

Q. How long is my price good for if I start service?

A. Prices are good unless we notify you otherwise. Our prices as of 2018 should be in effect for at least a year or two from your start of service. We want to maintain a specific price without increases, so what you see is what it should stay for the most part. We do hold the right to change prices how we see fit.

Q. What type of chemicals do you use?

A. We use all the top leading brands, but we also use private label products sold specially to our distributor for pool services like ourself. All chemical we use on our routes are top quality, none of that cheap stuff. We make sure to use gentle chemicals on your pool to prevent staining. For example we use liquid chlorine more than dry chlorine because there are no added extra ingredients or undesolved granular to sit on the floor.

Q. Are you licensed and insured?

A. Yes we are both licensed in our service area & insured.

Q. Can I change service packages more than once in a year?

A. You may change your service up to twice per year. For example, if you need to save some money and decide you want to cut service back from weekly to biweekly service you can do so, then after maybe three months you decide it is time to switch back to weekly. That is purely up to you.

Online Ordering & Other FAQ

Q. How long before my order ships out?

A. We ship as soon as possible. Usually within 24 hours of placing the order. This does not account for any holidays or weekends. We do not ship out over the weekend. As stated above, if item is not kept in our inventory it may take a little longer than 5 days. Check the pool product for ship time.

Q. How long does it take to receive an order?

A. It could take just as little as 2 days, but it can also take as long as 7 days depending on the item. Some items we keep an inventory, others we don’t. If product takes a few extra days it will say so in the description. We also provide different shipping options at cheaper and more expensive costs depending on the shipping service.

Q. What if I want a refund?

A. Please contact us for a refund, which is only eligible for return within 15 days after you receive it. You are responsible for the shipping cost to send it back. In most cases there will also be a 20% restocking fee. If you would rather get a credit to our store on a return, there will only be a 15% restocking fee.

Q. What type of payment do you accept?

A. Yes we accept cash, card, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

Q. Where can I get a discount code?

A. Just shoot us an email, text, and we can send you a discount code most times we have promos for our online store. Or join our email list, which gives you access to our giveaways, promo codes for discounts, and more.

Q. What is your giveaway?

A. Great, glad you asked! It is our way of saying thanks, and to give back to our loyal customers. Just being a customer and on our email list will grant you access. Giveaways may include pool floats, automatic vacuum cleaners, thermometers, testing stuff, get major retailer gift cards like Amazon, and whatever we feel will make the customers happy.
